Don W. Bishop
Founder & CEO
SR Hotel Management is an offshoot of SRI Management, a nationally recognized senior housing management firm, operating nearly 60 properties in the U.S., with another eight in development. In recent years, a number of our senior housing owners asked us to take-on management of hotels that they also owned. As a result, SR Hotel Management was created, focused exclusively on the hospitality industry. Today, SRHM is approved to operate select service and extended stay hotels under the Marriott and Hilton brand affiliations. The client partners that we seek include multi-property owners, REIT’s, private equity firms and developers.
Our companies are quickly becoming leaders in the evolution of two industries. We are experimenting with ways in which our “culture of care” adds to the value and stay experience in hotels and resorts. I’m pleased that we have the right corporate team to shape a bright and enduring future. However, we are only as good as the visionary owners we align with. It’s important to all of us that we choose wisely.

Matthew McCauley
President
Matthew McCauley is a hospitality executive and asset manager with extensive experience leading multi-unit hotel portfolios and representing ownership interests across both branded and independent properties.
Prior to joining SRHM, Matthew served with Gulph Creek Hotels. In that capacity, he partnered closely with owners, brands, and operators to enhance results, guide capital investments, and ensure alignment between property-level execution and broader ownership strategy.
Earlier in his career, Matthew worked as an asset manager for the University of Pennsylvania, overseeing a hospitality portfolio generating more than $45 million in annual revenue. He led capital planning initiatives and executed more than $20 million in property improvements, managed operator transitions, and contributed to large-scale development projects.
Matthew began his career in hotel operations, spending more than a decade in general management roles leading full-service hotels and multi-property portfolios, including union environments and complex ownership structures. That operational foundation continues to shape his practical, hands-on approach to property oversight and performance management.
He holds an MBA from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
